Not sure the Rams have anything to play for next week, they can't get the 1 or 2 seed no matter what happens. Wouldn't be shocked to see a let down week happen. Hopefully we just play a lot of backups and make sure we're healthy for the 1st round and if Philly ends up with the 1 seed I think I'd rather go through them than the Vikings.

Anyways, kind of a strange choice to have no football scheduled for tonight.

I was surprised too, especially since they do the 2 MNF games at the start of the year too. The only thing I could come up with was because Christmas

Yea that's the amazing thing about the 49er turnaround and Garoppolo. Kyle Shanahan deserves a ton of credit because his offensive scheme and overall vision are starting to take hold.

You can tell what I'm talking about by just watching them on 3rd down. He is forcing the opposing defenses to pick which level they want to commit to, much like he did in Atlanta. Jimmy is leading the league in YPA and it's not a mistake. Shanahan is finding the holes in the defense and Jimmy is accurate enough to exploit them.

Your talking 44 yard go route gains, 32 yard comeback strikes, 9 yard outs, 25 yard ropes through the seams, 15 yard gains on bootlegs, they are just dissecting zones and creating mismatches against man.

Jimmy G is producing with the same skill position players as Hoyer and the rookie had. The difference is the guy is oozing with confidence and can make sidearm dart throws on the run across his body.

The ball is coming out quickly and defenders don't have time to react. Another crazy stat is TOP since he has taken over. They are dominating the ball with him, converting an insane amount of 3rd downs, letting the defense rest and be fresh for the 4th quarter.

The other teams defense is gassed by the 4th as they have been on the field forever.

One of the craziest stats of this 49ers stretch with Jimmy G is they have only went 3 and out ONCE in 4 games!

The 49ers ran the 3 and out offense for the last 3 and a half years, it's incredible what this guy has done. Mike Fransesca said he would have given 2 first rounders for Jimmy GQ and said the trade is the best trade in the last 10 years and said Garoppolo will be a star for years.
