There were rumors that Belichick was going to let Brady walk and Robert Kraft said no fucking way so they traded Jimmy instead. It is true that you can't pay 2 players 20+ million a year and still put a good team around them so Jimmy was going to be gone in the offseason one way or the other. Belichick probably did him a favor by trading him to a team that looked like it has some upside outside the AFC vs. trying to fleece the Browns for 2 first rounders and having to see him twice a year while he wasted his best years in that hopeless organization.

The last 4 games have been incredible as a 49er fan. It's really hard not to have thoughts of the first year of Walsh and Montana looking at this stretch. Obviously nobody's in the hall of fame quite yet, but where the team is at with their 5-10 record this year vs. what they looked like a year ago is night and day and it's hard not to get excited for the future. Seeing what Shanahan and Garappolo can do after only 6 weeks together really says good things about the future when they have had a full off-season together and hopefully addressed weaknesses in the O-line, defensive secondary, and the receivers.

I never thought the 49ers could hang 44 points on the Jags even with some turnovers and the Rams game is a lot more interesting than I thought it might be presuming they don't sit their starters if they have nothing to play for.

Foles sucks, Eagles may end up with the 1 seed but no way they go to the Superbowl.

Should have been a pick 6 there and he almost threw one against the Rams too.

I mean, I guess the 3 seed is better than the 4 seed if an upset happens, but I honestly would rather play the Eagles right now. Even at full strength and a playoff spot to shoot for I honestly think this would be a tight game.

I'm not happy at all about the 49ers getting a potential franchise QB. Still, I'm pretty happy with how the Rams are set up going forward.

Watching "the best QB in Dallas" throw away big game after big game year after year after year, I'm willing to give Dak a couple more years before declaring defeat.

Yeah, there's a psychological thing to say "we lost on purpose" in a game when you might lose even if you try your best. Rams vs. Niners is shaping up to be a great rivalry in the next few years.

Totally not happy about it, before getting a QB I was much more confident in the Niners blowing ass for a few more years.

So Todd Gurley... less than 5 yards from scrimmage per game lower than AP from his MVP season. Has a few more touchdowns already. Gotta imagine he’s at least seriously in the discussion if not now the front runner.

Man, like 5 years ago everybody was saying Arians was one of the best coaches in the NFL. Times change I guess.

Yeah kinda wondering what's up with cardinals. Will palmer and Fitz retire if Arians leaves? I have a feeling cards will be bottom of the barrel for the next 5 years since they failed to plan for the future

now that harrison is a free agent..which team is going to take a chance on him with the playoffs coming

Patriots could use a dedicated pass rusher that is good (granted his play has downgraded some this year ) not sure if they will try to sign him though.
eagles?
chiefs?
etc?

I think Arians is a good coach when it comes to football, but when it comes to being a leader his style obviously wears a team out over time. I'm not sure how he's supposed to keep this team winning when their most important players have been injured for a significant amount of time. There are so many outright BAD coaches in the NFL I'm not so sure I'd be in a rush to try that carousel again.
