I would have never thought they would do it during the season. Guess losing at home to the Cardinals was to great a humiliation.

Yeah, I am pretty sure losing to a terrible Arizona team at home was more than they could take any longer.

This is about how I expected the game to go. Rookie QB in Seattle (where 49er QB's have been terrible the last 5+ years), and a TON of injuries.
