The refa handed them a critical decision in their favor that should not have been at the end of the game against the Browns. If not for that horseshit they win nothing. They are turrible. I love it.Going into this game I thought the 49ers were bad. The Raiders have shown what a truly bad team is.
How the fuck did they win a game this year?
Bell is a much better receiver than Conner and creates more matchup issues, but yeah Conner has been doing work.Off-topic:
I wonder how much value Leveon Bell has lost sitting out. I completely understand why he did it, but man... Conner is putting up extremely similar numbers. I don't see how any front office doesn't look at what De'Angelo Williams did filling in, and what Conner is currently doing and doesn't come to the conclusion that the guy was at minimum, a bit overrated. I think he's probably really hurt himself. This isn't to say Conner isn't a "good" running back, and won't be for awhile, but that Steelers offense produces some big stats for just about anyone.
Couldn't have turned out better for the Steelers, though.
And holy shit, the Raiders are really good.
The counter to this is that all the good teams pretty much have backs that are excellent receivers right now.the bell/conner/williams "issue" shows that bell is not worth the money, Yes he is a great player, but running backs are a dime a dozen - can get ~80-90% of the production of bell for ~1-3 million and can spend the other 10 million somewhere else you are saving for not paying bell-makes your Team Better.

from ESPN:
With each completed pass, Mullens seemed to reach another historical benchmark.
- Mullens' passer rating of 151.9 was the best by a quarterback making his debut with at least 20 attempts since 1970.
- Mullens joined Marc Bulger, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Marcus Mariota as the only players over the past 25 seasons to throw for three or more touchdowns in their first game, according to ESPN Stats & Information.
- Mullens is the first player since Carson Wentz to throw a touchdown in his first career game on the team's opening drive and one of four to do it in the past 15 seasons, along with Wentz, Mariota and Matt Ryan.
- Mullens is the first player in 49ers history to throw three touchdowns in his first game with the team, according to Elias Sport Bureau.
- The last time a 49ers quarterback threw two touchdown passes on the first two drives of a game was Week 4 of 2016 (Colin Kaepernick). The last time the Niners scored a touchdown on their first two drives of a game was Week 14 of 2016.
