Maybe it's technically roughing under the pussified '99% of all hits on the QB are roughing' rules but at speed it looks like clean play. Certainly isn't Burficting him.
Yeah my wires were crossed, he's actually remarkably clean when you consider how seldom he's been flagged for all those highlight reel hits. Which just makes the hit on Rudolph seem even cleaner.

He's clearly head hunting. It's clearly helmet to helmet and hard enough to knock a guy out before he hits the ground. If Rudolph does hop there he might be done for his career. Not sure why you are defending it.
I remember when the Ravens broke Ben's nose and no penalty was called. The Ravens have a history of being pieces of shit to the Steelers. At some point they need to start ejecting people but I guess today isn't that day.

You mean like Davis being ejected earlier today? Or Burfict being suspended for the entire season last week? The only way the NFL could be more aggressive about punishing dirty hits is if they adopted the college targeting rules.

Woooo nice to see the Saints top the Bucs today. Secondary likes to give up points at the end of the game like always but 31 points with Teddy as QB is impressive!
I know I haven't posted for like 2 years. Been a rough 2 years for Saints football. Highs and lows fucking killing me. We'll see how this season goes I guess. Secondary still has some issues to work out. The OL, particularly Peat, has some issues to work out. The rookie and everyone else look like great players but I don't think Peat is ever going to live up to his 13th overall draft position.
I can't get too hyped up after what happened the last 2 years. Would be really nice to see Brees go out with another ring. I am pretty damn happy to see how well the team is playing overall. I never thought I'd see a team this good with Brees still under center. A WR2, little better secondary play, Oline play like last year before Armstead went down would all be great but it's fun watching us win without the highflying offense.
