As bad as we crap on the Seahawks for not handing the ball to Lynch at the 1, the Niners looked pretty dumb essentially throwing 3 straight fade routes to end the game in that Super Bowl against the Ravens (even if they should have called holding on 4th and goal).

Well they were on the 5 instead of the 1, or roughly the 5. But yeah, I would have handed it off at least once, and called some sort of boot leg for Kaepernick to give him the option of throwing or running it in at least once, as well.

Jackson is gonna have a legit chance of breaking 10k career rushing yards by QB. I think Vick has the record with 6k something. He's gonna smash it in 5-6 years, if he stays healthy, but that's a big if. He's one serious knee injury away of being RG III.

Lamar has been able to evade defenders for two full seasons almost. He has never been injured and hasnt really been plastered. Never had a concussion or anything, he has done a good job at avoiding big hits.
He has been contacted more than any other QB by far, though. Over time it will be hard to maintain that type of exposure to hits.

I would like to believe that if they had won, Harbaugh wouldn’t have been fired. Kaep would not have felt the winds of change with the new coach wanting to bring in his own QB. And maybe Kaep wouldn’t have decided he needed to create a scene in order to stay relevant.

Yep, in a battle of one hit wonders, Flacco eventually prevailed. Kaep's big mouth ended his career a bit earlier but both were subpar QBs who had exceptional short term success. NFL defenses figure out guys pretty quickly.
