Rivera full on ditched Haskins, he won't even be active so not really just a benching. I imagine he "had" to use Haskins to a point before making the move.

Then Rivera never should have been hired. Snyder got hiring a head coach right once, and ditched him after one year, Marty Schottenheimer. Outside of Gibbs's failed return the team has never been allowed to be coached without Snyder tooling it up.

Again, I have said it since the free agents disaster of 1999, Dan Snyder is the worst part of the Redskins period. He puts his nose into this team way too much and is almost always wrong. He is why they traded 5 years away for RG3, he is why they drafted Haskins. Shiny toys in college RARELY work in the NFL especially one year wonders.

Lol ruin the team some more. Hard to ruin pure shit any more.

Its not that hard. My dog did it 2-3 years ago as a pup.

What you have to do is take a huge shit. (pure shit)
Then you Eat that shit.
Then you Barf it up.
Then you eat the Barfed up Shit.
Then you barf that up.

You have now ruined "pure shit"

Then Nester comes home from the movies to the worst smell in history and his wife cries.

The Washington Football team is at stage 3. Lets see if they eat it.

Snider is definitely not who you want making theses decisions. I imagine Haskins is being actively shopped right now

There’s buzz in league circles of possible “historic” punishment for the Titans given the various violations.

Signing Kyle Allen this offseason was pretty much the sign that Rivera didnt wany any part of Haskins. Which I dont understand. Allen never showed he had what it took when Cam was out. The defense did look really good before the injuries started happening though.

Yeah the Allen thing is even weirder. If Alex Smith is healthy, I can't imagine he's not a better option than Kyle Allen right now. I guess Allen does know the offense but Smith being the veteran he is, I doubt that is much of a factor. Seems you either go with who would presumably be the best guy right now (assuming health), or the young 1st round QB you drafted who has all of 11 starts in his career, and only 4 in a completely new offense with no regular offseason or preseason to get comfortable in it.

Long term, I think it would make more sense to let Haskins have a year to see what he can do, versus trying to eke out a shitty 7-9 division win if the Cowboys are really going to be that bad all year. Unless some of the rumors of Haskins losing the rest of the team are true. Just some weird stuff going on behind the scenes.

Ron Rivera is was on moving the chains today.

Says he likes Kyle because he knows the system after 3 years and has 7 wins as a starter under his belt. Alex has had two years in the system so He is #2.

He said Haskins really has been in a sub optimal situation with no pre season, no real training camp, no ota’s for a new system he hardly knows.

If you take Ron at face value it’s all about the knowing system and it makes sense as Haskins looks lost.

if you are looking to offload Haskins you don't have him active. So Smith in a backup roll, which could very well mean never throwing a pass and handing the ball off only, is certainly a possibility.

Darnold is being ruined by the Jets.
I think he is has a ton of value on a good team.

Bears, Washington, Eagles, Raiders should be think about trading for him as jets are bound for Trevor

Josh Rosen deserves a shot as well. He has been shit on by the cards and fins.

Offloading Haskins right now is pretty much selling s low as you can get I would think. Maybe someone overlooks all that and still sees potential (You only need one dumb GM, after all), but just seems strange.

The whole ordeal comes off as a fire sale and the "news" of being benched and inactive is just an advertisement

His shot is right now,

Rosen fell into the dream spot of all dream spots for failing young QBs

Practice squad on Old man Brady’s team.

He will learn how to be a QB from the best of the best who may only play one more year. Or he is done.

I’d bet on the later, I don’t think he has the same level as talent as Sam. I wanted Sam to fail for the last two years as a huge Josh Allen fan. Now I just feel bad for him and hope he can get a chance in a new division.

I forgot he was on team TB12. Good call!

Lol, it's gotta be the best example of "overnight success" thanks to a holdout trade ever. How sad it must have been for Quebec to see the Avalanche win the cup the year after they moved.
I take your Lindros and raise you another Denver player, John Elway.

JJ's answer at the 2:30 mark is absolute how the city of Houston has been feeling for the last 4 years.

More positive tests for the Titans. This puts their game in serious jeopardy.

Wonder if the 2 players that tested positive were at the practice that the team is about to get hammered for. Also, will individual players be punished.

The word forfeit is trending but I'm not sure how that would work
