Yet another pretty inexplicable move by the Texans, though, especially in light of the Hopkins fiasco.

Think they can cut him for nothing next year? If he doesn't get hit ever maybe he'll last. Dude just leads with his helmet on catches too often. I thought he was a good player but he probably should retire for his health. (But I'm stoked we got a 2nd for him)Yet another pretty inexplicable move by the Texans, though, especially in light of the Hopkins fiasco.
Im more concerned with Les Snead and these albatross contracts he has been handing out. That's a fuck ton of dead cap money this year.Nothing gonna kill the Rams about letting Gurley and Cooks go and eating cap shit for a year.
Both those players got overpaid but also helped get us to a Superbowl appearance but it's good they've cut the fat now. I don't think the Rams need Cooks, they could certainly use a healthy Gurley that gave 100%, but that dude was not on the team last year either.
Rams need to fix their offensive line and find a linebacker or two. Can they do that in the draft? Who knows. I'm perfectly happy with our position players. Maybe draft another RB.
Drew made the smart move. If anyone wants to know just how much losing sports has cost us, they just need to listen to ESPN. Their analysts couldn't provide interesting content if someone gave them an entire year's worth of free scripts. Sports covered for their lack of reporting chops, interesting lives, ability to substitute content for even a short period...anything worthwhile honestly. I had to break the habit even with the draft coming up.
The best thing ESPN has done over the last few years was the 30 for 30 series. A few of those were absolutely fantastic. As a bears fan the 85 bears one was really good. But the ones on Bo Jackson and Ric Flair were great as well.
Recently they ran an old wrestlemania. My kids and I watched it. It wasn’t horrible.
People watch ESPN for anything besides live sports now?
My favorite 30 for 30 was "Broke" about athletes that have lost all of their money. I always wondered how they manage to blow through their cash so quickly but after watching that it makes a lot of sense and I really sort of felt bad for them. Of course the biggest loser on that episode was Curt Schilling but I felt less bad for him because he hubristically thought that he could run a large tech company with absolutely no education or experience. Throwing a ball fast does not prepare you for that in any way and he should have known better.
I used to watch PTI and Around the Horn but that was years ago.
