I ended up watching a mostly frame by frame replay of the hit late last night and could never see where he got hit so this makes a lot more sense. Scary shit really, like his body and brain weren't connected for a short period of time and did a reboot or some shit. Hopefully it isn't something that once you trigger it becomes easier to do thereafter.

I think once you get put in the concussion protocol, you still have to go through all the testing to get out of it. From what I can gather by hitting F5 on reddit all day is that he got MMA choked out and was okay by the time they made him go the locker room but they held him out as a precaution.

I'm not saying it's impossible, just that this would be a way around the normal protocols potentially if the Chiefs (and the league) REALLY wanted Mahomes to be able to play if he wanted to.

Personally, seeing Patrick spend an entire off season preparing his mind and body to come back and take his revenge upon the league next season is fine with me. Its probably just best for everyone if they let him play.

This is off topic but I need to get it off my chest: I was very excited to see this meme for the first time. I couldn't wait to find out which video this pic is from, and examine it for research purposes.
It's an Instagram photo. I haven't been this disappointed since my Dad wouldn't buy me the NES at Radio Shack because it was $10 more than everywhere else, but everywhere else was sold out.
