According to Spotrac:Aaron Rodgers, Aaron has a $37M salary, and a $31M dead money hit, for 2021.
Long story short, a year of Rodgers is worth paying $6M for.
I still suspect the 49ers stick with Garoppolo for one more season, then grab Rodgers once he is formally released next year.

They could easily be _double_ the actual 2021 Salary Cap. Even if Brees doesn't retire, they are going to have to jettison a large chunk of the team. I would not expect to see them as a major contender next year.
Edit: Eagles Philadelphia Eagles 2021 Salary Cap are a mess too, before Wentz theoretically having a $59M dead money hit.
