I don't know if this is the best place to do it but maybe you guys can help. I'm trying to get Gears TV setup in Kodi, and full disclosure I haven't used Kodi in a while and just reinstalled it for this use.
I went through the first couple of steps, and am on the step to install from repository, and nothing is happening. I just get this icon on the screen forever and it never progresses. Any ideas

You can download a channel they created for the Roku just go to the addon's page and get to the channel link there.

They also have a kodi setup for the link above if you guys need it as well. I have both setup but didn't use the kodi last night.

I sure wish the shit sticks at the NFL would pull their heads out of each other's asses give us a simple, reasonable, legal option for selecting a team we want to watch. I have one out-of-state team I want to watch every week. Other than that, I don't give a shit I'll just watch whatever is on but give me an option to FUCKING WATCH MY ONE TEAM and I don't want to deal FUCKING DIRECTTV either. God this is so stupid you stupid twats.

Sorry to keep bringing this up here, but maybe one of you guys can help.
I've tried to do some more troubleshooting with MMA-TV, simply because I don't like Gears TV nearly as much. Having to use Kodi versus just being able to pick any number of channels I want on MMA-TV and popping those windows up on the TV just isn't nearly as nice.
It turns out there must be something wrong with my computer, because I was able to stream through my wife's laptop on MMA-TV just fine. On my computer when I pick a channel to watch, it will start to play, and then pause for about 2-5 seconds every 15 seconds or so, and just continues to do that. This is only for live streams though. If I go watch one of their archived videos it works without issue. Same for any other type of streaming (YouTube, Facebook videos, Porn, etc.), they all work flawlessly.
Since my wife's laptop was on WiFi, I tried pulling the internet cable and going through WiFi on my computer but it still ran into the same issues. I simply don't know what else to even check for what could be causing the issue. Does anyone have any suggestions at all for what I could try to get it working properly?

Install Wireshark and inspect the packets to see if there's something causing a disconnect on your end or if it's coming from the remote server?

Oddly enough I decided to try it again tonight to watch the Dodgers, and the stream was working 100% perfect. After about 30 minutes it just stopped, and I couldn't get any stream to work again.

I missed the @ some how sorry. Once you add the address in file manager via add source, install from zip file, select repository.gearstv-1.1.zip and that's all that needs to be done, it should show up in your video addons.

Thanks, I actually finally got it working. Not sure why it kept getting stuck.
But as I mentioned above, I just don't like the limitations of having to use Kodi and not being able to stream multiple channels at once. I know it sounds weird, but typically on Sunday's I will have a game on the TV, plus Redzone and possibly another game on my PC running. ADD and all that I guess...

i had some issues myself when trying to stream live. archived games are always fine tho. this was streaming to my laptop -- now that i'm home from the hospital i'll be streaming to my Roku. hopefully the Roku handles it better.

I'm streaming directly from my computer to my tv- no roku, no kodi.
I'm not a student, but can probably get access to a student ID number.
I don't mind paying up to $100 for the entire season, but I'm not paying more than that.
Want to keep it relatively simple and avoid having to sign up for bitcoin stuff or do a 15 step process if possible.
Thoughts?
