Every year I put my money on the Jets in the playoffs. Every year you guys fuck me. Yea you look good as hell, but can you hang when it matters most?

I came close to down $1,000 on them to beat Colorado in the first round. They handled them so well in the regular season.
Then the wheels fell off.
This is one thing that really annoys me. If the NHL returned to QC every single game would be a sellout.
My uncle is a French-Canadien from Quebec. He use to tell me of the rivalry between the Canadiens and the Nordiques.
Some of the games were absolute blood baths. We need more of that.

I was hanging out with some guys from Montreal after the Pittsburgh home opener. According to them, the owner of the Habs absolutely does not want a team in Quebec City and will do whatever he can to make sure it doesn't happen. He does not want any competition.

This is absolutely true. And when the Habs want something in the NHL they usually get it. That's 100% the reason there isn't a team in Quebec City. They're entirely capable of supporting the team. Hell, if Winnipeg can do it Quebec City can. They're roughly the same size population, add in the Quebec fervor for hockey, and it's a match made in heaven. I'd love to see the Nordiques back. That city knows how to do things right. They would build a great arena that is appropriately sized for their population.
Toronto's 3-1, definitely their year.
