Caps broadcast was thinking Samsonov waived off D man to play the pass on the 2 on 1 for his 2nd goal. You'd think a former teammate and countryman would know better than to just tell his D man to let Alex Fucking Ovechkin walk in and just snipe it far post easy as can be.

Was not my intent. Kind of a bullshit scenario. Nobody deserves that. However the silver lining is to see if you guys can hang without that power piece. We're kind of going through the same without Point right now. The PP is abysmal but the 5 on 5 and D has been looking up.

Hopefully we can. Other lines have been going pretty well along with top one, and more scoring from the blueline so far this season not just Carlson. It'll probably be a morale hit, though. Whole team rides a little higher with the record chase and him being so hot.

It was rigged actually. PoMo said he'd love to see the Jets win the cup during the celebration last year.

That's why Scheifele was left wide open to make the lead 4-2 on his hat trick. PoMo knew if the Panthers swept the series his beloved Winnipeg would have gone into a crisis.
