If we get Elhers and Vilardi back from injuries they could go a long way.
So far so good.
I loved watching LA kick the Oilers ass. Ive been to Alberta. Nothing but steers and queers in Calgary/Edmonton.

Hey at least we weren't the only team that laid a turd. Vasy just didn't show up. 5 goals on 11 shots is beyond unacceptable. Reset and try again I guess.

Man...I just feel bad for McDavid sometimes, though. That push in the 3rd was incredible. Dude was probably on ice for 6 of the final 8 minutes...ties the game up, comes off for one shift. Game over.

Seriously though, I have no love for Edmonton, the fact they have McDraistel and cant get anything done because they forgot about goalies and defense. Like signing Skinner and losing those 2 RFA's is just inept

Cap going up so much next 3 years should let them be able to make necessary spending at those spots if they're smart. But might not want to just buy a single Cup. Smart trades/spending with some prospect development could set them up to contend for next 5-8 years as McDavid/Drai age.

I mean they are 28 and 29 (Drai will be 30 in October), theres no real getting better at this point, they will be excellent and slowly getting worse. Edmonton has never had a good goalie for as long as McDavid has been there at this point they are just inept at that position.
Also you always buy a single cup cause you are never guaranteed one, if you can get one do it no matter the cost.

Montreal has to play 60 minutes or we are not going to win anything. That said after 60 minutes in both games it’s not like we are no competing.
That said Washington is taking advantage of their size to dominate us in our defensive zone.
I never really expected Montreal to win this series, I was hoping we could push it to 6 but I’m a bit doubtful now, talent and size just going to be too much to overcome.
That said, it’s good experience for the young guys, we are the youngest team ever to make the playoffs so there’s definitely an opportunity to learn what it takes to win in the playoffs. I’ve seen Lane Hutson basically give up the puck to avoid a hit, he’s awesome player but he will need to learn to play is these more physical games or he’s going to struggle.
Laine not playing in the 3rd is a decision I 100% support, fuck that guy is the ultimate one-trick pony, awesome shot on the PP but is actually fucking lazy on 5 on 5 and makes tons of awful decisions. Even though the habs are short on goal scorers, I hope they trade him during the summer.
Wit’s all of that said, I’m enjoying the games, Montreal is pretty entertaining to watch usually. Go habs go!!!
