For sure? Hagel was out for blood, didn’t give two fucks about the puck and saw his opportunity to try and injure the best player on the ice. I hope he doesn’t get suspended so somebody can beat the piss out of him in game three.

Truly a shame there was not a goalie as good as Mackenzie Blackwood available for trade this year. Hell they could have used their first on him....unless for some weird reason they spent their 1st to get a LD (Walman) to replace the LD they lost for a 2nd round pick (Broberg), which they then spent on an injured 4th line forward (Frederic).

Fun game in Montreal so far, wonder what the penalties will be for that little scuffle at the end of the second period.

Losing Montenbeault might hurt a lot.

Well if you’re a habs fan, what a fucking good game. We played a full 60 minutes for the first time.

Not sure what happened to the Caps but they were nowhere as dominant physically as they were in the first 2 games.

What a strange game where both starting goalies are out with injuries.

I'm a Panthers fan and I'm not totally in agreement because this is inconsistent with all these games so far where people are taking crosschecks to the face and there's no been no calls.

If they were handing out punishments evenly, then this is warranted. If you're letting other players get away with this in other games and other places in the playoffs, I'm not a fan of the suspension.

Caulfield getting cross checked to the face and Ek getting slew footed right in front of the refs without a call? Come on

Consistency would be nice. Also, Hagel was malding as fuck and his only intent here was to try and injure Barkov who just so happens to be one of the few Panthers that absolutely does not deserve that kind of shit.
