That's a little harsh. His line really did produce on defense when needed. He's just old.

Kane is still an elite player as hes showing the last week. Look at the people he has to play with and the shitshow that the team has been the last couple seasons. I wouldnt give a fuck either. Look at Ryan O'Reilly for example. Was having an awful season on an awful team and has been on fire since going to Toronto.

If the reports are true and the Hawks are gonna bend over a barrel to accommodate him, then i'm all for it. Upgrading Vesey with Kane should be a no brainer If it doesn't cost a 1st or blue chip prospect. Then that makes a 4th line of Motte, Goodrow, Vesey. Best combo they've had all year by far. None of it really matters though if Igor doesn't get his game back and the whole team doesn't start playing some defense. That Wings game last night was brutal.
We'll see where Meier goes, but I still have the Leafs, B's and Canes ahead of the Rangers in the East.

I was at the Bruins/Kraken game last night and that was the most fun I've had at a Kraken game (besides the result). It was loud and felt like a playoff game. It was nice to see the Kraken hang with the Bs, who are a much more skilled team. If they play like that in April and May, they could make a run for a couple of rounds.

They could not hold a lead at all last night. Would give up a goal 30 seconds after scoring. Sucks to see them slowly slipping out of the playoffs. 3-6 in February and we had 4 games in hand on a few teams. Now we are a wildcard team. Divisional race is so tight, anything could happen. But its nice to have a rooting interest this season after the disaster than was the inaugural season.

Hahaha, nice. Nice to see us actually score some goals again, having Wilson back in the lineup and Oshie looking back at full health is nice. We've been so starved for goals the last bunch of games crazy to see us actually put up 6.

Yeah, Rangers defense has been ass since the all star break so i'm not surprised they broke the drought. I figured the Caps would be hungrier today anyway.

Wasn't sure how we'd come out with the Orlov trade still fresh, but I guess you lose 6 in a row, it's plenty of motivation to go out and get a W eventually.

We just traded a young depth defenseman and FIVE FUCKINH PICKS for a depth forward. Wtf was this trade? Is Jeannot known for being a 200 ft forward or something? Don't understand this one at all.
Edit: he's 6 '2 and leads hits for Nashville so now I understand a little bit more but 5 picks seems crazy.
