Like I know its actually not rigged, but man it would sure be funny if Bedard went to college instead of playing for an organization that protects sexual predator's. Just think the Coyotes lost a 1st rounder cause they asked some potential prospects to do a push up or two, and Chicago had to what? Having to fire Bowman and Quenville? Woooooooooo big fucking deal.

Bit is it not rigged? Why don't they verify that randomness via a live drawing? It's all very shady.

They release the video of the drawing every year. There is a representative of two teams in the draft, the media are in the room and Ernst & Young to audit and conduct the drawing. It wouldn't be in their interest to rig it since Ernst & Young is way bigger then the NHL.

Ah then I was misinformed. Usually don't pay attention to the draft but this year was pretty hype.

Looks like Landeskog has likely played his last NHL game in last years finals. Sad to have to retire so young but atleast he is being paid till the end of the 2028-29 season, which he earned no matter what. This surgery is apparently brutal to recover from and its likely he will never play again but it will allow him to walk without pain.

Yeah, I agree. I hate when injury determines how long someone plays. I am glad he is getting it done and not just trying to muscle through. There have been players in the NHL who have tried that, it never works out well. I guess it's always a possibility when you play a high contact sport like hockey.

As fun as that would be, playing in the WHL makes him NCAA ineligible.

If Toronto gets swept it will be no better than a first round loss. Be interesting to see what the repercussions are.

Vegas is going to shit things up tonight is my prediction. I could be wrong, but I think they have too much swagger.

Poor Vegas they have to play against 2 (ok 3 with Brouchard) people instead of 20. Oilers are a joke and it pisses me off seeing that talent go to waste.
