Plot: Ray Waller is a former major league baseball player forced into early retirement by a degenerative illness. He moves into a new home with his concerned wife Eve and their two children. Jesus that looks bad. RLM really were right about Blum House shitting out cafeteria movies. Every now and again they have one that's entertaining, but this one looks like someone was creatively bankrupt.

Maybe this movie was written and made on a dare. Like what's goofiest idea we can get produced but play it straight.

pool/pond is a portal to another dimension is certainly something done before, and done well. but yeah, that trailer looks so bad. its so focused on the pool, instead of the family moving in, and the pool just being seemingly normal. the really goofy extended marco polo, goofy spooky voice. haha.

I would rather 100 of these types of movies that turn out 2 or 3 cult classics than the insane budget Hollywood films that are all either remakes or bland, uninspired drivel.
