Its like telling the old racist Chinese supply closet joke, but using a french accent to say surprise. the joke makes no sense.
Saying. "duuuur accents are funny! you are missing the joke/", doesn't fix the fact you used the wrong accent.

at no point, does Yoda ever speak anything but broken english. how is it a lost in translation joke? He doesn't get words wrong, or with the wrong meaning. he just says them out of order. His syntax is wrong, not his translation.

Untranslated joke:
Why is Five afraid of Seven? Because Seven Eight Six.
Well we don't tell this joke because the counting is out of order.

Yoda joke:
Why is 5 afraid of 7? Because Six Seven Eight.

See, Yoda counts different than us which is why he tells a different joke than we do. Get it? It's not rocket science.
