No Time to Die (007 Bond)

their last hope is the china market, with their love of black lead actors, im sure it will be just fine

movie is out on rental VOD streams everywhere $20, and of course 4K HDR atmos rips as well. I like this new model, it was only out in US theaters exactly 1 month ago. I'm fine waiting 30-45 days to see a movie at home, so much better than the six months of pre covid.

This movie was hilarious.
Bad guy doses James Bond with toxic masculinity and forces him to cancel himself.
A true monument to our times.

The end of this movie ruined the whole movie. I liked it until the last 5 minutes..

cuz most non black countries dont have black people with top secret clearances with the black countries having no women in charge of the l33t inf0z. they get some diversity hire role with a low clearance. i dont even think the UK has black women in top roles. she cant even be an agent there. at best she works as a maid for her run and just steals shit out of people's rooms. she will have a License to Steal. actually that sounds pretty hilarious. when real James Bond bigdicks into a casino, she could take his order of a dry martini, shaken not stirred.

watched this over the last 2 nights at home, so glad I didn't trek out to theaters I think I woulda been pissed. I still semi liked it, reading some of the forum posts I was expecting a movie where Shawniqua runs around as an ape assassin and Bond follows her as a gimp offering his ass to fuck as a distraction to the bad guys.

They are mostly separated most of the movie, and it does focus on James most of the time. The cinematography and globe trotting is great, shot on location in beautiful Italy, Cuba, Norway, and Pacific Islands and the wide vista tracking shots are 10/10. action is ok, pretty much what you expect in a Bond movie with a high tech makeover which is a bit odd after the low-tech approaches of the last few movies.

I didn't even really mind the ending, I thought it was a way to close out Craig's run and made sense in the context of the movie. Rami Malek / Safi was a shit tier villain, all the villains were just terrible and one note and really trash. The one chance they had to do something interesting and memorable and its utterly wasted.

Mostly the movie reminded me of me writing dumbass Star Wars or spy stories as a kid full of retarded shit, and then my younger sister taking it and writing all over it her own stupid retarded shit with unicorns and princesses. Clearly there was a script here that was a pretty mediocre Bond story, and then Phoebe-W-B came in and shit all over it with her romantic drama, family, and "women are better than men and have to deal with men shitting all over them all the time" feminism. I don't blame her for it, thats what a stupid bitch is expected to do, but I do blame the producers and director for allowing it.

Black 007 was funny, she literally failed at every mission given to her every time but somehow still acts smug and superior. I guess that part matches reality.

Ana Armas was 10/10 awesome but only in the movie like 6 minutes.

If you're a super bond fan its literally the worst Bond movie, so probably not a watch, but if you like looking at neat world locations i guess there are worse ways to waste 2h45m. Goddamn why was this movie so long lol

Pros: beautiful to look at, Ana Armas is hot in an evening dress, Lea Sydeah (sic) is beautiful, great globe trotting, some neat Q tech moments

Cons: Bond is fucking neutered to be some sort of weird non-sexual old guy everyone makes fun of, women are all smart and powerful and amazing while men are retarded evil morons who are the root of every problem, the villain is absolute shit, the writing is terrible, pacing is bad, most of the plot makes little to no sense

Everybody I know under the age of 30 or so loved it. Everybody over the age of 40 or so, including myself, felt the basic storyline and film production to be very good, but rendered entirely moot by the ending. This movie literally put me into a mild depression for a few days. Another childhood memory defanged, declawed, neutered, and eventually destroyed to make way for the Future.

i've honestly erased spectre from my mind, i watched it once in theaters and will never watch it again. yeah its probably worse since i'd never rewatch it, but I'd rewatch No Time To Die, at least the first 90 mins, again

Spectre really wasn't good. I had so much hope for it after loving Skyfall, but it didn't perform. No Time To Die is significantly better. So I'm sure it'll hold up for watch #2 and even 3.

Why didn't the nanobots hurt bond? Was it not his daughter ?
