Or the 12700 which is like 1/2 the price of the 5950 and better overall, at least for gaming which is pretty much all I give a shit about.

Im thinking to upgrade my shit to the new 12700 from the 11700 which is a piece of shit compared. Also not sure WTF but either my msi 490 a pro mo-bo or the proc itself is faulty since it back screens and reeboots like once a day. Shit gets super annoying while playing games. And this is the second computer thats doing it, I returned the first.

I got that shit in the amazon shopping cart ready to pull the trigger but kinda curious what the ryzens will be like. Isnt that shit due this year?

One reason I plan on avoiding Intel is because their P+E design requires windows 11, a complete turd of an OS that will require (or does already for latest build) an internet connection and microsoft login to use it. Microsoft's reason for existing is vanishing and I'm starting to seriously root for Steam's linux platform just in case they pull the same BS with Windows 10.

You can run Win10 mostly fine on Alder Lake and if you have any gaming issues disabling E Cores in the bios should fix it.

The newest chip production issue is, of course, Ukraine. Apparently, it was a major source (60%) of noble gases which are used a lot in chip making. So you now have a new shortage (not a long term one, but chip makers are reorganizing yet another supply chain).

Finally got my meshilicious going with this dumb AIO and it's 5 connections to function.

Still waiting on minifit Jr. Pins to arrive so I can clean up wiring more.

Because of RGB, homie! Gotta make that case clean as fuck. My setup is the same. Wish I had gone with 4x16 sticks though, instead of 4x8.

And the performance "loss" is something you're NEVER going to notice outside of extreme benchmarking.

You can still dual channel with four slots, I don’t think you lose performance with four. You may be thinking of when you have two sticks but put them in slot one and two instead of one and three.

Tie a piece of fishing line from the case top to the card. Cheap and simple.

You can buy plenty of braces or have something 3d printed.
