Look I love it when Mist isn't saying things that make say WTF or GDMT but 2 pages of this in the NEW VIDEO CARD THREAD is killing my joy over new pixel things. I am thrilled you have a 900 sq ft house you don't like on a 2 acre plot near the beach with your computer in the hottest room in the house (Its your favorite!) that you let random deadbeats live in parts of the year when your family isn't there.

Look at all the you I have learned about in the past 2 pages that isn't NVIDIA 30X0 VIDEO CARDS. Please post this in a thread that isn't this one.

To be fair here, watching Mist fabricate reasons that she has to be miserable in real time is far more interesting than the "GEE WHIZ I HOPE MY WIFE LETS ME BUY A 3080"

Theres not much to talk about until Thursday when we can all bitch about how we can’t find shit in stock and scalpers suck and fuck you to the few people here who get one and tell us how awesome it is. Bitching at Mist is just how we kill the time until then.

Consider running long video and USB cables through a wall and putting the case in an adjoining room. No noise and heat in the workspace.

Smarter would be getting an extractor duct/fan setup because that amount of heat buildup indicates the room is not properly ventilated. Sitting in a small poorly ventilated space for long periods of time is not healthy.

Seems this card is really useless for 1080p plebs and great for those aiming at higher refresh rates. The 1080p performance seems to be on par with 2080ti at 1080p but much better performance going up to 4k
