To clarify, not right this second. Evga site isn’t even up for me. I meant when doing limited releases in the past. Apple Pay is the best checkout experience I’ve ever seen. I don’t see how it could even get any better.

Site finally came up, got it into my cart a couple times but it would default to zero in the cart and crash. See that was more fun than the first batch of just “out of stock” immediately.

Yea I would imagine they were all gone within seconds. EVGA site isn't bad because they seem to block the bots pretty well, but there's still tens of thousands of pasty nerds sitting there F5ing trying to get a card.

lol, someone said one of the manufacturers is underclocking the card as the factory default, I guess this is why.
With the 3090 10% faster at twice the price I'm gonna wait to see what they release next year (20gb 3080) before I upgrade.

That sounds familiar.

I managed to get a $999 EVGA 2080 TI pretty early on and it was belly up within 2 days with artifacts and freezing. The replacement they sent lasted less than an hour before it started crashing/artifacting too. The third one, after approx 1.5 months of playing hot potato wit EVGA I finally got a working card, and at least they upgraded me one tier. Supposedly it was the Samsung memory at fault because almost nobody with Micron chips had the problem.

Good luck early adopters.

Older than dirt here apparently. I was tickled pink when I moved from 40 to 80 text characters wide on a screen :) and then color OMG.

I thought we were all going to game on glasses or virtual reality headsets? Didn't last long.
