I played the shit out of the second one. Best thing ever was coming up with extremely elaborate rube goldberg style perpetual death machines that shot people around the room taking advantage of every single environmental hazard.

I still remember the corkscrew spin bodies would do when they went air-born.

I haven't thought about this game since high school. Probably why the memory is still fresh.

Looking at this Deception (video game series) - Wikipedia and some youtube videos. It looks like I played 2 and Trapt. I must have dumped a ton of time into 2. There was so many sick combo's of traps
