How one story can be some weird cool abstract tale about portal shifting between a normal world and fantasy, and the next is a grisly, down to earth metal-as-fuck melee where exhausted knights are scrambling for their daggers - not knowing that the survivor is the worse off for what awaits him.

I've always loved Conan stories and the 80s movies, Beastmaster, a few others. I feel like almost nothing scratches that itch other than Dark Souls kinda games these days, and I am glad to read short fiction that digs deep. The first story of the latest release? Holy fucking shit.
