This is 23 December when I started running as much rarity as possible compared to today. As mentioned a few posts above I have made ZERO progress into lvl 94 due to consistent deaths despite re-capping my resists and (so I thought) not gimping my character too much, hence dropping down to 114% rarity.

The most notable difference is Vaal orbs being self sustaining and no longer needing to buy them from exchange to corrupt for t16 maps, plus the huge number in regals also (I've also sold a bunch). Alchemys are also semi sustaining but I've recently used a bunch on a number of white t15s.

Big increase in lesser jewellers and gemcutters too. You can't use my number of exalts/divs as 'proof' of item rarity as the exalts get used to slam maps/items and I also sell a couple of decent items a day for exalts and divs. Seen a number of greater jeweller orbs and sold/used them. Maybe 1-2 perfects can't recall, no lvl 20 skill gems.


I think I'm still at 5 divs in a week which sounds relatively poor compared to people running 400+ rarity and running giga juiced breaches. I prioritised currency farming over XP whilst also pathing to towers to find citadels.

Just farm juiced breaches to farm Xesht for HOWA, I've just sold two pairs for 6d each (undercut the market by 1d). I killed him at 4am and again 80 mins later, although admittedly I did get a multi-multi breach map (although just running around picking up the splinters took ages)

The dual herald ice/thunder with reverse ailments is not secret tech. In fact, I have a recorded breach from *checks notes* 30/12 testing it out

I didn't say it was secret tech, the proof is I acknowledged that all the streamers are doing it. I explained it for people who don't know.

The secret tech is the Stormweaver Ascendancy with Polcirkeln.

I don't know if it's worth it, but I'm testing it.

Why do you consistently and constantly act so disingenuously? It's 2025, drop the tired disingenuous schtick!

So the idea is that Heralds don't apply the ailment they trigger on and therefore can't chain activate, so you put freeze gems on Thunder and shock gems on Ice so they trigger each other and chain."


You literally broke down this "secret tech" step by step, assuming that nobody would understand how it worked and therefore an explanation was necessary

That's the existing tech. The bit you edited out after is the secret tech.

I've already clarified that I meant Stormweaver Ascendancy which google tells me nobody is doing with a bow.

Why do we have to go through some angry unhinged misinterpretation every time?

Since you used the ring with this combo yourself I thought you may have some insight on using chill instead of freeze to trigger the combo... like how it changes the gem setup.

The argument for invokers using dual heralds instead of polcircle is that it frees up a ring slot for a better ring, that can then be amplified by ingenuity. I don't see the logic in this because you then have to find another skill gem slot. I tried it with a decent unset ring that allowed me to keep my other auras. I also have a max dmg roll polcircle that hits 43% cold damage after quality enchant.

I do swap out polcircle for pinnacle bosses because the shatter effect is worthless there. The other argument is polcircle with herald of ice interaction may get nerfed, so in that event I will consider switching but polcircle is too good as is

Finally hit 95 after what must be 9-10 days stuck at 94. Although my internet was down last weekend so didn't play that much. Didn't realise how much the rarity set was holding me back, because I could clear t18 maps with mega low resists on full rarity but then die to stupid shit on t15s with capped resists. Bought some different rarity items that didn't reduce my DPS as much and decided to focus on levelling.

I forgot that there's a node that gives you more elemental damage when heralds are active, so it does do something on a single target boss fight

No idea whether that's worth more or less than having extra crit from charge infusion

How hard are these pinnacle bosses compared to map bosses?

I'm at the point where I can blow up breaches and kill T15+ bosses, I can kill 80% of map bosses bit the occasional one does get me, probably because of the map being juiced.

I've only done Arbiter upto +3, Xesht+4 is ez farm and one king in the mist because the item is extremely rare (although I don't really use the ritual precursors as much as I should). I've also only got one expedition logbook. That was earlier today and I died lol.

Xesht is pretty easy tbh, if you're not an arthritic boomer playing warrior
