Models look pretty awesome. Hope the movie is as good, since after looking at the models, they aren't taking a single thing from anime/kaiju series at all. Like at all. Period.

I meant an adult rating. I don't mean that in terms of quality though. Just hoping that they take a serious/dark handling of the story instead of power rangers shit.

I'm not sure about this movie. I get the Robot Jox feel from it, but I fucking HATE anime. If they go the anime route it will fail miserably... hopefully they've taken note on how terrible all the other anime movies have turned out and steer away from that god awful shit.
