How are the other 99's to early 2000's people doing like Mark Jacobs and some of the others? Any news on Camelot Unchained? Lord British's game doesn't seem quite MMO enough for me but I backed it just because he appeared to be make progress. I missed the boat on Camelot but I just don't see how these guys can make a game, at least now, that can be worth playing compared the AAA groups.

People rumor about KTAM? Who? Isn't KTAM just one guy desperate for attention?

Also, I don't know. I look at Pathfinder Online, which is a live version of Unity the Game, and they got way more money with Paizo behind them, and look what they shit out.

I guess what I'm trying to say is keep calm and Pantheon.

There were a few. Mainly Beck, Savant and Skatch. I really don't care but hey, thread is dying. Someone's gotta reach outwards.

I haven't even seen pathfinder or heard a peep about that in months.

Pantheon really is the only game atm trying to make an old school pve mmo. That's really the appeal but the amount of games popping up promising the glory of the old days is good for our chances of eventually getting one that's fun and playable. Hopefully the trend continues. If for some crazy reason EQN tanks, I think SoE might be forced in that direction.

Also in the podcast they mentioned graphics getting a huge bump. That's big talk and now they need to get something out.

I think golden girl on there is the same golden girl who used to inundate the City of Heroes forums but I could be wrong. I felt there was a possibility that they're Nirtixx but given that golden girl on CoX was there for a long time and Nirtixx is rather young, I could be wrong.

Speaking of games trying to exploit on feelings of nostalgia and rose tinted glasses, isnt that game Shards Online supposed to be pulling a similar relive the glory days sort of thing but employing the same sort of Shroud of the Avatar-esque considerations?

About the only game with an older former bigwig in the industry at the moment that I can think of past all that is the space stuff with Chris Roberts(the only game I've put money into crowd funding, not much but a lil... Im not one of those who spends over 1k and gets the concierge services they have for the whales there).
