The point isn't about who is or is not correct about Pantheon and its potential. It's the fact that these communities are very insular and Brad is wanting people exactly like us, including you, including me, including the people shitting on the game. Why does he want even those people? Because they are passionate about the genre. It doesn't matter how much trash we talk we will play the game and actually give it the praise due or slam it to the ground if that's what it needs.

Right now these are objective comments you cannot refute.

1.) The "game" currently is bad, it might be better at launch but right now it is bad.
2.) The "game doesn't exist, yet. Until it is playable by everyone it doesn't exist.
3.) Brad has a track record of drug use, and? We have several people here who are proud drug users. So what.

It is the same shit over and over, from them AND from you. Until it isn't the same shit because something is changed by the developer, Brad. When that happens the narrative will shift for better or for worse. Until then we are in a holding pattern with nothing else to talk about. Enjoy the ride on your first forum ever. The rest of us have been doing this since the 90's.

I have been doing it since the 90s too, and this forum is the worst. Everyone knows the game isn't out yet and could be a failure, it doesn't need to get repeated 10 times on every thread. You are defending stupid pricks because you are one.

So, Smed's indie game fails and he offers refunds to people who bought it. Brad's kickstarter fails, he runs off with 150k of funding and fucks off while Fuzzy Troll era happens and he can't fucking bother to try and steer the sinking ship (Sigil all over again) until Joppa comes in and pretty much takes control away from Troll lady and probably Brad since Brad can't seem to actually give a fuck.

Conclusion, Smed > Brad.

That's the exact logic he used a page or two ago when he told us we should just leave Pantheon alone. It would make too much sense for him to follow his own advice.

Too many people on the internet like to conflate "nerd rage" with trolling or making fun of someone. Usually it's done when their position is the one being trashed. The only "rage" I see in this thread is coming from the Pantheon True Believers like Querty who keep calling the entire forum shit because no one takes this game seriously.
