Gotta agree there. I think grim is retarded to spend that on this game as I think it's overpriced and sets a bad precedent, especially given Brad's part. However, Melvin's argument kind of misses the mark. Grim isn't paying for a finished game, he's paying to access one being made. There is something there now that he can actually log in to and knows something about how much currently exists. It's not like putting in 1k during the kick starter phase.

Here's what I'm gonna do. I live in a really nice alley, but I'm going to go down to one of the bad alleys and find a junkie and we're gonna come back to my place and set up a Twitch channel. We're gonna download Unity and monkey around with that. I pinkie swear that we're gonna release an MMO and that it's gonna rock. You can watch us build the game live for only $999. WOW! That's a bargain! If you're too big of a degenerate piece of shit to have $999 to spend on my MMO live stream, just tell your maids to look between your couch cushions. If you're middle class instead of dirt poor, your cleaning staff will easily find more than $2,999, which my crack team will gladly take off your hands in exchange for one of our napkins with our concept art sketched on it. And maybe some beans too. What a deal!
