Hey! Hey. Hey...hey. Wildstar launched within three years of its announcement.

So...perspective. Wildstar literally was launched and shuttered in the timeline that PRotF has been in development thus far!

But kind of useful to be when making a video to promote and generate interest in your product.
I have been a professional programmer for two decades now, and I can tell you that a great deal of programmers I have worked with would not be good on camera. Some of the best programmers are the most awkward introverts you would ever meet.

This is why you hire non-programmers as your public face for your company. I would imagine they have a greater need for spending money right now on development than public relations, so you end up with highly technical employees doing marketing and public relations.

If they aren't ready to hire or find someone comfortable talking on video, then they probably aren't ready to talk in public about the game. Of course, well, Brad, being the historical example and possible explanation.

The guy I said was uncomfortable on camera isn't a programmer though, he's the Director of Promotional Content. He might be the best face on their team as well (lol), so they seem to want him on camera. Regardless, I hope he improves because I am interested in hearing if there is any progress on this game. Personally, I hope they throw Convo on there, I would find that amusing.

Also, you should have told them you program and have some experience, you'd be the new CTO!
