I feel like this is one of the first times they haven't released a video that is completely scripted. They're just dudes playing a game, makes it feel a lot less weird honestly.

I am interested in group focused gameplay but the fear is that's just not how videogames are playing nowadays. Gonna be an immense amount of drama in this game over spawns lol

I think it'll be fine. All 12 of the $10k Alpha backers will have plenty of room to spread their wings in Pantheon: Rise of One Zone (no chunking, not seamless, actually only one very small zone)

I mean I’m all for games that play like EQ. FFXI and VG were the only two I’ve played that pulled off the same feel. But come on, five, six years of development for one fucking small area that looks like it’s from 2002 and no finish line, hell still no start line, in sight. These streams get views in the hundreds?

I know you’re ready to get back on that horse and ride but, this ain’t no horse.

I'm just hoping they have a public Beta sometime in 2025, kind of like how WoW did! You know, just so people can log in after their EQ raid and see that it's an actual game.

Preferably with more than one zone.
