Sorry been busy the past day to respond earlier. It's now massively off-topic to do so, so I'll
tryto keep it short.
While I may not jump in the conversation a lot in the future, I'm not just some random nomad who "gets excited by many new mmos", like you assume I am. I'm a fan of a game Brad produced, and hope to be a fan of this next game of his too. I'm here for the opposite reason. That there aren't any MMOs I get excited about.
The reason why I thought gogojira_ tweeted my question was just based on timing and the fact I had not seen it mentioned prior. I stated it more as a nod of 'thanks". Regardless, who gives a crap? The question was asked and answered. That's all that matters. If he says it wasn't based off my question, I'll believe him because I just don't really care.
I've followed this thread for around 100 pages, mostly fully reading, sometimes skimming. The stuff I brought up I had either not seen talked about at all in those pages (Rift support), not discussed directly regarding specifics (My PvP concerns), or just felt I should throw my name in the hat regarding my feelings on a topic (Class type variety). A thread this long would be insane to expect people to read in its entirety before posting.
I planned to get involved in the conversation earlier, but was surprised by a moderation queue on the registration. By the time I was approved, the conversation mostly shifted to bickering and topics I have nothing to add to. Regardless, I'm entitled to my views and to have the ear of people the same as anyone. To act like I have no right to address Brad just because I'm new to this forum is idiotic and insulting. I didn't know you make the rules around here, or that everyone has to ask for you for your approval/guidance to post something. I thought this was a open thread. One that the dev of the game that it's about was monitoring to keep connected to the fans and garner the fullest understanding of what such fans want.
You have a problem. You generalize people and make assumptions about them. And go after them when they don't live up to your personal standards.
Clearly, if anyone needs to shut up in any way, it's you.
