I'm installed, will log in at lunch to have a look around. Can’t believe I’m actually gonna give this company money to play an unfinished product. I suppose we’re just that desperate for something “new” that gives us that old EQ feel.
Have three or four friends, plus myself, who will be giving this a try on Friday. Thinking we might start in the new Ogre/Dark Myr area. Kinda worried if we don’t start together it might be a hassle to group up early on.
I don’t have particularly high expectations. I know there’s Halnir Cavern, a true dungeon, and then two other over world dungeons in the first three zones. With three new, larger zones, my hope is that there will be at least 2-3 additional overworld dungeons. If we can group up and do some dungeon crawls/camps, farm some named stuff, that’ll be enough for me I think.
Guess we’ll see. We’re rolling on Dark Trade with y’all.
lol, i take back my comment about trying it. Early access is 39.99$ That's a big newp for me.
I thought it would be free. No way I am paying that after 15 years of sub-par development. If reviews here are decent I will reconsider.
LMAO love how all the haters have weaseled back and are now playing in terminus.
Was thinking Shaman or Druid, just notice Druid isn't released yet.Was there a server

Yeah, I've talked plenty of shit, but I'm trying to give it an honest shot. Like you alluded to, though, there's so many other things you could spend your time on, particularly with games. I just don't see how someone would start up Pantheon who didn't have a still raging EQ P99 style boner and remain interested. I'm used to being able to play games that have a world that feels lived in and have some element of interesting gameplay.Dude, the haters are haters for extremely valid reasons. That doesn't mean people wouldn't be willing to try something and give honest opinions. This entire project was fraught with drama, mismanagement, lack of funding, constant reworks, etc. Pantheon deserves all the criticism they got.
That being said, no way I am paying 40$ for an early access game which may be a piece of trash. For free I would absolutely try and, if it were good, would consider something like 40$ upon release. I may even pay up to 10$ but the value is simply not at 40$ when I have 10 other items on my wishlist all confirmed better for the same price. Trying this would more be to joke around with fellow FoHs dudes.
Pretty much the only thing about the game that isn’t their faultWhen it feels like 1994, but the prices are all 2024. Canadian to US rates are criminal right now.

And they must be joking.
