Fansy? The original Fansy?Fansy works as a server admin at SOE and is kind of a big deal in certain dual sport motorcycle communities. I will try to get him to register and post this week. Maybe he will even want in on the kickstarter.

Good question. While we're still hashing out the details of our process, we are looking to take things back to the classic era of bullshitting when we tried to appease nobody, instead of the more modern trend of trying to provide acceptable answers to everything and every one.are they making it up as they go? can someone ask that.
Yup. I hang out with him in an IRC channel on EFnet.Fansy? The original Fansy?
Yea, are you serious? Was he working for SOE the entire time? That makes his stuff even funnier hahaFansy works as a server admin at SOE and is kind of a big deal in certain dual sport motorcycle communities. I don't envy you having to go back and read it all...lolLots of great info in this thread
I want to say 'thank you' for your passion and continued support for the project. I'm super excited to be working with these guys, and I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all better in the coming days. It's a lot to keep up with, so we may not be able to reply right away to specific questions or concerns, but please keep them coming - we *are*reading all 322+ pages of this thread and so many other sites right now.
Thanks!

Just a bit of light reading, eh?I don't envy you having to go back and read it all...lol
I just caught you were a dev. Welcome to the forums! Your name does look familiar, I just can't place it.....Lots of great info in this thread

Vanguard perhaps? I was a GM there in 2007 shortly after SoE was handling the game. I later became an apprentice designer (working 8 hours as a GM, then doing 4+ hours as a junior developer each day - yep, I'm a masochist!) on it, before becoming a full-time dev.I just caught you were a dev. Vanguard! Bingo! My wife will be super excited to see you posting. Vanguard was her "virgin", or her EQ. Unlike myself, I'm sure she will remember you.Vanguard perhaps? Sweet! Say 'ello for me? Vanguard for me was one of the last MMO's that actually felt immersive, even with its flaws. I haven't really been engrossed in a virtual world since then (although TSW's came close for me). One of the many reasons I'm excited about Pantheon, looking forward to that feeling that the world is a world again.Vanguard! Bingo! My wife will be super excited to see you posting. You're my hero, buddy. A dev should hit up RPS.With all respect to the VR team, I don't understand the "we're only 10 people" logic. I get that it's awesome to have avid supports help push the word, but the truth is you're 10 people on the Internet whose entire life right now should be pushing Pantheon in every direction. Your network is much larger than the guy in an old guild that may have one person that'll contribute. It's the world wide web, access to everywhere is at the tip of your fingers: research the hot spots, go there and spread the word. You as a developer will gain a lot more traction than the guy who has already donated trying to get pushy with his posse.
I want this shit bad and I've become that annoying pushy dude through a couple of channels, but having that dev. tag on your name means so much more. If anyone needs access to GAF, I can try to get mod assistance to push that through. That's a huge gaming forum to interact with.
True. We're going to do a better job at communication going forward. Apologies again if we can't get to every question right away - some responses will be showing up in our Updates and FAQ's, but we're going to be stepping up our presence here and elsewhere as a team. With all respect to the VR team, I don't understand the "we're only 10 people" logic.
