Someone start a kickstarter to buy VG from SOE and hire VR to finish it according to the values expressed for Pantheon.

Damn... that is highly unfortunate. The recently announced changes to the All Access pass had me heavily considering subscribing so I could dabble in EverQuest, EverQuest II and Vanguard from time to time. Losing Vanguard from that package makes it far less appealing.

I can support this. As long as Salim goes back to crafting and the game is returned to its late beta release roots: no iod, multiple racial start areas, slow XP curve.
They never cared about Vanguard and just wanted it to die from the start. They would rather burn the IP then sell it and see anyone do anything with it.
well folks, i know many of you thought VG was crap, me personally, I think it was much better than many of the wow clones weve seen since. It was the only mmo I have been playing on and off for the past few years. Now its going away. As crappy as this KS has been, it truly is our only real chance to get the MMO we all want. Even though it is a fools hope. If this game fails too then I think thats it for MMO's for me anyway.

We also, with very heavy hearts, announced that four of our games (Free Realms, Clone Wars Adventures, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, and Wizardry Online) are set to sunset this year. You can read those announcements on those respective games' forums. - SOE

At this point, the only people watching the QAs are people who are in until the end no matter what. They need to scrap all the QA's and either edit them together into something coherent and relevant to use as the main video for the Kickstarter, or just do a new, professional video that will replace them all. Do they think anyone unsure of the project is going to scroll down far enough and then watch 5 other videos before finally watching the 5th QA video.... that will what, finally get this Pantheon project off the ground?
