Yeah, IIRC primarily aimed at Smed and SOE due to SWG, but this thread has been all over the place anyways. Plus I thought we'd had a derail about Smed tweeting about a new game so that the "SWG gamers can come home" or whatever the fuck that was, in this thread. But it's 230am, so...

This is one of those memorable quests in EQ that I loved. Such a sad story of a little girl that wandered into the Qeynos Aquaducts and got eaten by a baby Gelatinous Cube. Maybe the baby cube just wanted to play but it went wrong.....

The best thing was that you could learn about this quest through no less then 3 NPC's: the father and two others. Each gave different rewards, had their own view on the occurence and you could actually overhear the NPC's talking about this when you were near them (as opposed to the NPC acting as a pellet-dispenser with a large ! above his head). These NPC's weren't even in the same zone(though they were all in Qeynos).

Yeah that guy was some smuggler from some backwater server that had a whole story about how he cornered the spice market and how SOE was watching his every move went full retard when they said fuck you and changed game.. standard neckbeard paranoia I'm sure he still rockin a tin foil hat some where.. I think he was a poster on mmorpg.com alot like UT with out the backstory

Whats the story with the site anyway? Are all topics preapproved by the mods? Look at how nice and neat it is. Not a single unauthorized topic. Looks more heavily moderated then even Sony.

I haven't said anything a PJP but those guys are looking too much through rose-colored glasses for my taste but that is probably a good thing for Brad. If the project gets funded and that becomes the place to post ideas and share feedback, maybe i'll become a little more verbal but I what I have learned from the KS comments is you really cannot reason with these people. If you say anything sensible or you bring reality into the picture they go ape. There are few guys over there, primarily from this board, that act like they've played EQ before and understand MMO's but i'm beginning to wonder if you were to go to KS comments and take a poll on their favorite EQ expansion they would say Luclin.
