They've had a closed beta this week that's supposed to be under NDA but people have been leaking and even streaming it before getting taken down. Not sure if the beta is still live.

You know what, why doesn't any normal game company do exactly this. Shit hasn't even happened yet but here it is laying out a solution, the steps they are implementing, and pre-emptily warning and apologizing for the issue, while thanking the community.

It's actually refreshing to see a company not immediately be complete fucking faggots.

Mine took less than 15 minutes on cable here. I moved my account off of steam years ago because at the time on patch day for a new league steam was always behind the stand alone launcher.

Guess I'll turn the sound on, I normally play with just loot filter on unless it's a boss.

I eventually moved to Steam for PoE 1 just to have the time I played tracked. Why? I dunno, but I know a lot of people do the same. This is my play time since August 18, 2018.

I will eventually link PoE2 to Steam, but def going with the stand-alone for the early access.
