My video card was going wide open when I launched the launcher, it didn't do it in PoE 1. I turned down some stuff dunno if they defaulted it all to max or what.

Can't speak for the 4090, but with the 4080 not all settings were on max by default. I would say they're majority, maybe, but certainly not all.

My 2080 saw some massive relief when I limited it to 60fps foreground. Maybe I'll want more later, but sitting at the login screen I don't need the rain to be at 240fps like it was originally set at.

4070 Super and only thing not on max was the Shadow + GI Quality was set to low. Although I'm not playing in 4k, so maybe that's why?

Going to try controller since some previews said that the game felt like it was made for using a controller (better than D4, which I used a controller for throughout my entire playthrough). Auto detected PS icons which is nice, not all games do that still.

Ziz is doing well. 76k viewers. 15+k subs in 30 minutes. Subathon + GGG drop/sub rewards + PoE2 launch = $$$$

If you decide to set your options like I did, be aware that under UI if you check hide login email, it will crash the game/login.
