His stream isn't big enough to live off of, that's for sure.

His crew has been heavily involved in RMT for a long, long time. Never directly him due to obviously visibility issues, but glad to see something is finally happening to him.

Empy lives in hungary i believe so he could definetly live on just stream income. Average income is under $1k per month there.

The trader move is no biggie. All group players do it. The difference was apparently he knew he and his crew were about to be banned so they were trying to offload shit. Don’t really get it because I don’t think they got to hand over their gear to the trader so my guess is that’s Reddit bullshit inferring.

I would give GGG $1000 straight up for a SSF mode balanced around trade league acquisition rate for gear with the consequences of never being able to move that character to trade leagues of any kind or maybe having a bigger consequences to respeccing.

Conspiracy theory: with six link white socket base duping gone Ion's team needs to eliminate competition.

He played a resto duelist in Superior Nerds. Took over game development in Shadowheist league.

For a newer player who has played before but never beaten act 3, what is a good build for this league? I've tried watching videos and they talk about all kinds of gear, but I won't be trading or probably getting high maps. Just need a simple range build if that is a thing. Doing minions/necro now from Kay using her guides.

According to Ziz they're account banned, not player banned. So they can literally just start a new account and get back in it. They'll just be missing their stash tabs/mtx's or whatever. Ziz was saying there's only like one person he can think of that has been banned as a player themself and that was years ago. Pretty sure it was the GCP recipe guy RMTing hardcore and GGG basically found and banned him over and over again.

I'm interested how the builds shift for juiced red Ultimatums. I think being immune and tanky is the way to go over more damage as there's non-killable persistent effects. This may be the league of the Headhunter Juggernaut. The interesting thing is with such a tight area clear isn't as important (though still very nice) so you may see some of the old gold skills like Molten Strike and Spec Throw come back out.

So far league is good. Map sustain sucks as I'm dipping into reds, Ultimatums are hard but rewarding (got back-to-back exalts in the same Ulti), QoL stuff with league revamps and EVERYTHING DROPS EVERYWHERE (I got Garukhan's Flight boots from trash drops) is good. Rendering shit is annoying and hopefully they figure that shit out. I wouldn't do anything in a map in hardcore for about 15 seconds because of it. Sometimes my attacks and the mobs deaths don't render so I just see mobs, hit a button, and then mobs are gone.
