getting dc'd from the server during a lab and just before the last trial makes this a fag game.

Yeah, the game has basically been unplayable for me because of this. I was fine all of Sanctum league, but ever since the patch I'm constantly getting the, "an unexpected disconnection occurred" bullshit. Usually happens shortly after zoning, but it can happen randomly now and then too.

Guilds are cross league. You can talk down to us peasants from whatever league you choose to play.

Thinking they do the big league nerf Tuesday. I haven't been checking Reddit but I've been hearing the tears overfloweth.

I'd guess they simplify crucible channeling with breakpoints you can see, let you choose to allocate first point so you don't brick items, and reduce the damage reduction on the highest end of the forge mobs by 30-50%. Some of these things are Shaper equivalent in level 80 maps which is pretty funny, honestly. Except they're actually 5x more dangerous than Shaper because we don't know what the fuck they do. The spider boss is definitely going to ruin some hardcore peoples leagues. Takes me back to dying to Flicker spiders in a Catarina Mission back in my Hardcore days. Great stuff. I'm mean, not really, but it's funny if it doesn't happen to me.

Passive trees remain fucking bonkers. 90% of the people don't understand local versus global on things like attack speed not realizing 8% attack speed isn't a 1% increase in damage, it's an 8% increase in damage. There's definitely downsides but weirdly they represent probably less than half of all the nodes, so you can get trees that are pure profit.

The actual Forge maps are brutal. Monsters always crit. -15% max player resist. Always poison. No flask charges. Wayyyyyyy over the top. But I've gotten 4-5 magmites and geodes and shit just goofin and not trying to farm them one item at a time. So drop rate seems fine.

This will be one of the more fun leagues of the past ~2 years once they tone down the mechanic for normals. The problem will be people making god trees on white items then QQing about not understanding crafting. Maybe they'll get off their ass and watch a video or read a guide now that it's definitely going to be mandatory outside of Div/Hour shitheads and people using Unique weapons/shields.

But yeah, league is brutal for probably 95% of people. Nerfs definitely coming.

So vengeant cascade also works with frost blades with increased projectile speed similar to the Cptlance tech last league with Nimis and EK. Fucking filthy. Glad I didn't cuck out of this build.

Yeah, but why settle for just doubling your dps(remember, only one returning projectile can hit) when you go much further with a few other skills?

Well I already rolled FB don't feel like rerolling my starter. My second build will probably fully take advantage of some retard shit though. Wonder if Icicle Mines will have all projectiles damage when they return? What about EoW and Winter Orb?

This guy claims the returning projectiles shotgun, but I'm unconvinced by his video that they actually do

Icicle Mines I doubt. The projectiles are fire all at once, so are subject to shotgunning rules.

I tested EoW and Nimis last league. It was not consistent. Since it's a dissipating projectile, you need to give it a ton of proj speed so that it end of flights before dissipating. The problem, I think, is that makes the main orb travel much farther as well. Thus, secondary projectiles were being spit out much close to the server "non calc" bubble around the character. Either way, I couldn't get some combination of proj speed that would make them return with reliability.

Never tested worb, who the fuck knows with how borked vengeant cascade is.

Note, just about everything with Nimis needs to be retested. Fireball no long explodes, just keeps on going...

I think he's full of shit. Guess I'll have to watch 22 minutes of Jousis at home to figure out what his secret tech is.

I can get FB projectiles to return, can't get ANY of them to register a self poison. I'm pretty sure Lightning Strike and Frost Blades have that "if hit by the melee attack, can't be hit by the projectiles".

Yea I don't think it works either. I watched maybe half of it and it didn't seem like it was doing anything besides visual returns.

Should be easy enough to test for sure though with herald of agony though? If you attack once and get more than 2 stacks etc

Anthropomorphized Narcolepsy's testing methodology is "look, it returns from hydrosphere! and my dps went up".

Herald of Agony is the poor man's testing setup. It's a pain in the ass to setup, but I suggest getting a self poison character in standard. You have to work out the hijinks of poisoning stuff without killing it, but it's worth it. Virulence counter changes far to fast to be reliable for things like slow moving projectiles or multistage attacks.

What they should do is remove the early on unique restrictions for the League mechanic and just allow uniques to get a tree without any extra b*******. Then what they need to do is make the rare encounters that currently give you the ability to put a passive tree on a unique, Instead allow you to put unique passives onto rares. There's your build crafting.

This seems reasonable for SST

I've been playing a Juggernaut Herald of Agony build and gotten to 59 so far. Not only has it been easy to play but I've been able to clear fully charged crucible spawns as well except for a couple of exceptions where I got one-shot repeatedly.

Only problems now are
1. This build needs lots of DEX to keep the Herald of Agony gem leveled up and I'm constantly looking to increase my dex.

2. The guide doesn't cover what skill nodes to take past this level and I've already taken them all. If someone has a suggestion, let me know. :p
This build: TbXie's Herald of Agony Juggernaut Build Guide (PoE Crucible 3.21)

3. While the gem and linked node system is cool, I haven't been able to find upgrades which are linked together. I literally need 3 green + 1 red and they're just not dropping or reforging. I'm at level 59 still using level 28-35 gear in a lot of slots.

4. No active guild system it seems.

5. I previously played a Witch with zombies to level 40 a few years ago and remember a lot of legendaries dropping. So far I've gotten like 3, out of which 2 I can't even use. Seems the drop rate has been nerfed or crucible has lower drop rates?

It's been like that for a couple leagues. SST still a garbage skill until they fix its hitbox.

Yea but now it can get 40 flat ES from crucible and have ~close to ~850 ES. Just a casual like 350 crit multi from seething fury, nothing to see here.
