Nice, this was going to be my next build idea once I find that staff. Nicely done on the guide too, tons of people will use it. I refuse to write up guides just because of the brain dead morons that ask for a leveling guide " uhhh duurrrr what skill point do I place every single level and is it uber atziri viable even though I haven't ever made it to act 3".

Cheers guys. I've compared my setup to plenty others and unless you run lowlife in standard with a shavs the damage doesn't increase a lot. In fact, some guy posted a build yesterday on reddit and his build with full buffs had less damage & energy shield than mine unbuffed (well, I used discipline too). A healthy stack of int and then some key cold spell nodes = nice. Jewel slots are so ridiculously good as well compared to just filling up with damage nodes. I have some jewels that give 25%ish spell damage and 15 int
I am now considering making a writeup on my Scion Summoner as well. I've been experimenting with the support gem "Innervate" instead of lightning penetration for my spectres. They seem to shock pretty much everything which is really nice

Anything special to get flicker to work? 2hand req?
i stopped my molten strike ranger,(who was supposed to be dw flicker and failed)
swapped to a lighting witch.
Wanted to do something with tempest shield. Then planned stormcall. Kindof swapped over.
Shocknova+innervate. so good.
Still running with tempest shield, but its mostly for looks at this point..
Stormcall is on a totem, adds alot of single target dps. great for bosses.
I'm blowing through content so far, with only parts of this.
plan is this:
helm/gloves: Stormcall+spelltotem+Conceff+fast cast.
Boots: CwDT+Enfeebale+molten shell+?? Possibly Conductivity with doomcast or other +1 to curses item.
Chest: Shocknova+Innervate+ConcEff+echo+lit pen++aoe.
Helmgloves: Temp shield+duration+endcry+??
Weapon: wrath HoT ?? ideally, a +socketed lit gem wand. and fast cast, added lighting, etc.
Sheild: chaos golem, Flame dash+fast cast linked.
Shocknova+innverate for very high shock %. And just massive fast casting.
How is Zealots oath+enduring cry?
Thinking atm.

SRS is very serious once you get the gems leveled up. I've had a 90+ srs sort of build for a long time now and it's just insane at every level.
My favorite flicker strike build was this RF/Flicker/something else and it was just fucking nasty. Rf would pretty much kill the mobs by itself and the flicker didnt need the very best dagger because of RF. It was very very nasty and deadly. This was pre 2.0 and the only downside/death was desync.

Fuck this game, just fucked me over so badly. Fucking doing a tropical island map, kill a pack of snakes, don't take a single fucking step, no mobs on screen, full hps, 3 seconds after the pack dies my character fucking explodes from full hps, my cwdt IC MS chain goes off, and i'm looking at the fucking res in standard screen. Total fucking bullshit. Did a /oos 30 seconds after staring at the res screen in fuckin disbelief, doesn't move me more than maybe 1 cm on my screen, if that. Fucking bullshit. Even with desync if you're in the middle of a fucking pack of mobs in reality but not on your screen you can still see your fucking health dropping. None of that shit for me, just full to fucking dead with all my shit triggering... So goddamn ridiculous.

So I'm really trying to like this game but my ground smash marauder is pretty much anti-fun to play. I got him to 40 and lost all motivation to play him at all. Standing and just smashing the ground ad nausium is pretty boring. Can anyone recommend a more fun build/class for me to try out before giving up and deciding this game just isn't my cup of tea?

For Warbands, really digging my crit physical Split Arrow/Puncture ranger. Starts off a little slow compared to how it'll feel later on; once you get a solid bow clear speed starts to go through the roof.

My wild strike scion was the most fun i've had with this game in almost 3 years. Tons of effects, you bounce around a lot, good damage output, etc. If you want I can try to do up a guide for the way I built her and whatnot.
