Are drop rates higher in HC/races?

Got a regal, 2 chaos, 7chance, and 4 drop spells in that 1 hour race.
Only got level 12 on a ranger.

Too much chest looting. Also made the mistake of stopping to fight on the way to hillock. Got lost in a bad upper prison, wasted a lot of time there too. A double necro spawn really wasted some time. all around maybe 2 levels of mistakes.
that other 6 levels? no idea... I did skip fetid, tidal, and drowned.

bah got wrecked that run.

Top guys were blowing away this time.

And even worse luck on drops for me. only 2 green sockets up to brutus. still using crude bow. and he double hit me with no evades.

Went marauder first time to sweep all the things, got to 11. Bow Ranger 2nd time, got to 13 with 20 seconds or so left in the league. Have just been putting all points into dps skills. Almost died quite a few times on both to packs of blue casters in the prison. It does feel like more gems and currency were dropping.
Anyone want to group up for the races this weekend? Hadn't really settled on any particular class. Been using the same name for all races, since I've been building them for just 1 outing and not long term, Racing_WO_Pants

currency drops seemed unchanged from my pov, with not a single relevant currency drop. Only made it to lvl 12 on my witch

Oh well, still 3 points I guess since they reduced the range.

What's a strong fun HC char to play that's not so mana heavy..?

I've only played one char so far to A3 a EK shadow and the mana cost of EK is too annoying I don't even want to continue playing it. Clarity halves your mana bulb basically and two casts of EK = OOM. It's retarded really spend more time hitting mana flasks than using abilities.

What level are you and what are you linking EK with? I kept mine linked with just Mana Leech, Iron Will, and Fork for a very long time. My Fork is 16% so I doubt I will ever replace it with Chain (which I think is *vastly* overrated to begin with).

I have also never bothered with Clarity on my EK Shadow. That said, if Clarity is taking half your mana, then you either have way too little mana or you leveled the gem up too much.

Once you get high enough level to take EB (and have the gear to support it) all your problems will go away.

Update on Piety. I went there with a ranger friend this weekend, me 72 him 75 and slowly trudged our way through the temple until we got to her. I must say, I felt like it was probably time for my summoner to die and was a bit scared. Shouldn't have been. My zombies killed all of her portals before she went into them (I think she got ice form once) and then proposed to beat the living shit out of her. 30 second fight, and that's while carrying a scared to shit ranger! I should sell boss kills there, damn

I am really enjoying my summoner and skeletons + spell totem is so awesome. I like how the skill tree gives me so many options. I could build a heavy aura, high health, melee based summoner if I wanted.

Just got an email saying that my account was logged in from Japan and now I need to put a code in to unlock it. Now this was with a email and password that i have never used before on any other game or site.

Don't bother me as I rarley play the game but for this account to be hacked does seem to be that it is their system they got my data from not any other location.

Yeah I don't know, if there were database leaks and shit, there would be so many more people getting hacked. They'd just automate the process and loot accounts 100 by 100, but unless a lot of people don't say anything when they get hacked, this is just not the case. There's a normal amount of "hacks" like there are for every new game released as far as I can tell.

Anyway, been trying a few different builds that went meh, went back to my Duellist DW sword cleave, god the new animations for the duellist are fucking horrible, I already didn't quite like the duellist before but that's even worse. Build is pretty strong otherwise though, I'm farming felshrine merciless pretty easily and decently fast too. Biggest issue is I have -60chaos, this is gonna suck once I start progressing.

Oh and they're adding a new spell reskin that looks pretty awesome. Price is probably going to be too high to afford just for fun though unless your main is a sparker, probably 15-20$.
