Well yeah, it turns into a 2link if you hit. Even if PCoC procs a good amount of crits and can keep you topped off on power charges, is that worth giving up 50-70% crit chance, 35+ multi, and any other mods like wed/flat damage/shaper or elder mods?

Split arrow + curse on hit might be ok for mapping if you're somehow not clearing stuff before it can proc but curses should probably still suck on bosses and especially shaper/elder since they barely got an increase in effectiveness, also probably not enough to make up for the loss of stats on a nice rare quiver i'd guess.

Is there any real advantage to rushing through the acts as fast as you can?

Is it like a race? Or is it some kind of race when a new league starts? Just wonder why people want to be in maps in under 4 hours. Seems little difference to being there in 6 or 7 hours.

The faster you can start selling certain items/maps, the faster you can make money/control the market.

6L soulrend with 4L bane looks tasty and fun. Slap Malevolence in an essence worm.

But I could see doing ED/contagion too for bosses.

Aren’t you stopping less to cast wirh ED/contagion?

Overall I think both look very meh for bossing.

yeah this is nuts.
And really all this ES leech. Eldritch battery is on the table for alot more builds.

Also on this support. Someone pointed out, this is very good for any build using blood rage. even non ES builds that just have at least 1 ES..

but at the same time..imho.. you would have a hard time finding any skill these days that does not have 5 high powered supports that arent 40%+ damage multipliers.

CI is really nice if you can take it.

Probably work out pretty expensive to make a CI trickster, though you can fossil craft nice ES/evasion bases and save tons of money. The new nodes look great for it.

You'll miss out on the nice life recovery from Patient Reaper. Occultist honestly seem a better fit for CI and Trickster Hybrid.

But, unless you're really planning to push a character, either could do either.

CI is pretty easy these days. Especially after this patch.
All that ES leech. None of you guys are talking about it.. but check out ARCANE WILL. 4% of mana as extra ES.

New shield nodes are beast for CI as well. That extra defense on shields was always there. But, shield themselves were a flip up between dps of dw vs shields.
Check out the spell damage on arcane guarding, and cast speed/spell damage from arcane swiftness.

While at it. Also check out DARK ARTS and the nodes before it. 30% CD Recovery on movement skills.


Evasion IS very good for CI and ES builds.

Is this thing out on PS4 yet? I can see it when looking on desktop, but no option to download and it's not in the store when checking from the PS4

Na they said it'll be coming in a little while, they had to delay it a bunch. Last news is mid march.

I don't think anyone's not talking about it, just not a great idea to start the league. If you're in the north part the tree, most build should eventually transition from life or hybrid to LL or CI. Way too much EHP to pass up.

Well ED has some built in regen and Soul Rend can leech a bit off the direct hits, but I think the idea is that you use ES natural regen with Occultist passives which makes it so once your ES regen start it can't be stopped for a little while so any break in damage you can fast regen a ton. Trickster has the new evasion > ES thing off ghost shroud. Also Vaal Discipline.

Ok, anything a bit more generic? Let's say I'm starting EB-MoM Trickster with Bane for clearing, Soulrend for single target. How do I sustain life on bosses?

If you want to sustain life you will want life regen and flasks. And the pantheon that refills flask for single targets if you expect to get a few good hits on you.
