She's made loads of posts about how much she enjoys working at GGG that you can tell are very genuine. Not some half arsed "I love working here bullshit" you see floating around game studios public posts. GGG does seem like it's a pretty good to place to work if you're a software dev or artist etc.

There's a new patch which might stop the agony crawler from being a stupid fuck and getting stuck in corridors.

Within the next few days we're planning to deploy the 3.9.2f update that includes changes to Item Filters that we talked about recently as well as some small performance improvements and various bug fixes. We're aiming to deploy this patch on console as soon as possible after its release on PC. In the meantime, we've prepared its patch notes for you to check out.

Please note that the patch notes listed below may be changed prior to the release of this update.


  • Added new functionality and made improvements to Item Filters. You can read more about them here.
  • Improved performance related to monster and minion pathfinding.
  • The following items now allocate to the Map Maker when they drop: Timeless Jewels, Ivory Watchstones, Awakened Gems, Awakener's Orbs, Conquerors Exalted Orbs and Uniques from Legion, Blight, Metamorph and Conquerors of the Atlas bosses.
  • Reduced the damage of the Storm Call skill that Baran-influence monsters used. They will now only use the skill if they have line of sight to you.
  • You can now use /hideout to return to your Hideout while in Tane's Laboratory.
  • Improved the performance of Acid Magma Orb Effect and Harbinger Magma Orb Effect.
  • Improved the visibility of various weapon effect microtransactions when applied to the Colossus Sword.
  • Restored the skull to the top of the Syndicate Flag Hideout Decoration.
  • Fixed a bug where the Power Siphon on-death effect could be played multiple times on a single monster. This fix also improves the performance of Power Siphon in general.
  • Fixed a rare bug where Malachai in The Harvest and Core Map could sometimes fail to transition to his second arena.
  • Fixed a client crash that could occur when using Leap Slam while it had the Harlequin Leap Slam Effect applied to it.

I would appreciate some feedback from someone who enjoys playing Blade Vortex. The stack maintenance, to me, meshes so poorly with the standard map clearing prioritizing:

1. See pack? Go hit it it.
2. Don't see pack? Go find one.
3. Repeat.

I considered BV unplayable before Unleash, but even with it, I find having to hit BV every 3-4s interrupts that smooth clearing way too much. What's a good way to get over this?

Got bored and decided to login again this morning and kill Sirus. Vaaling my templar gloves of you get what you get and like it.

I think I accidentally made something....not much. maybe 5-10ex?

So I’ve played ele hit and now ice shot/barrage. I think it feels pretty damn weak and I have level 1-2 awakened gems where i can get them. Just using Death’s opus, voidfletcher, a crit multi precision watcher eye, and hyrri’s ire. I am unimpressed though I do find it “fun.” Might try to sell this and try savior once before breaking. Surely I can pick up a middling corrupted one and a paradoxica now for 10-12ex.

Lets add more of what we already have too much of! Brilliant. Seems like a modified Synthesis league, but with new passive nodes instead of building up islands.

Seems like they ripped off just about every mechanic from past leagues. Legion jewels, breach zones, metamorph bosses, etc.

We already knew that the league mechanics leading up to PoE 2 were going to be scaled back so that they could continue development on the sequel. This seems like a perfect league for that. Totally optional new content seems in line with what we were expecting, no?

I am really unsure about those jewels, if they are anything like timeless I am going to be pissed.
As in, impossible to know how they will modify your passive tree without equipping it?

Yeah, that is frustrating. I only plan to buy a timeless jewel if it can offer a deterministic benefit. Like strength stacking builds, or a Keystone modification.

That said, Delerium looks good. I really like that they are layering it on top of existing content.
