Yeah, but you have to flag it for download like he said. (they've changed how this works a bit, used to be you "bought" it, now you hit download or whatnot.)

Yep, got probably 30 sitting there as "purchased" that I can re-DL after they left the store that I've not DLed yet. (And a handful that I deleted because I accidentally let the DL run, heh)

Just make sure it lists it as "Purchased" in place of the "DL" button and it's set IIRC.

So many good games on it Tarrant. You should at least play the Vita Uncharted. (was free on psn+) It's also going to be great with a PS4.

I'm having quite a bit of fun with Sleeping Dogs, something I probably wouldn't have tried without it being free on psn+.

I'll be holding off till next month for budgeting purposes, but assuming it's a reasonable offering in line with whatever price announcement they might have at E3, I might be game in July.

I really have to say I wish I had known about PS+ a long time ago. I never realized the quality of some of the games that appeared or that you essentially get to keep every single game that is ever available for free (if you want). That is such an amazing deal. I'm the type of guy who likes to game but I have so much stuff, I rarely feel the need to purchase something on day one. Even for stuff I really like (with a few exceptions) I just wait for a sale (especially PC games). So, PS+ is ideal for me. I've already saved hundreds of dollars by having it and I've only had it for six months. I really think people don't know how good of a deal it is.

Well, it's not "free forever" - it's "free forever" as long as you have an active PS+ subscription. (Although if you let it lapse and come back - the "purchased via PS+" titles aren't removed they're just paused until you're PS+ again)

Your wording would imply you could sign up for 1-3 months, get everything for those months (the 1 month is only available as the trial cards to my knowledge FYI) - then cancel and keep it - which is important to be clear it's not.

It's an awesome ploy for them though, as you start building a critical mass of games it becomes harder and harder to ever want to cancel it - since month one you lose 6 games or so but when you're sitting at close to two years like I am (I started before the "upgrade" last year that made it awesome as hell) it's literally probably 100 games I'd be losing out on for less than a EQ1 subscription was. Like literally 2 hrs of play a month would justify it, and with so many games thats improbable to ever be a losing deal. [In fact so much so I'm sitting at a cancel date of somewhere late in 2014 for mine, I was already on a year + a trial card I added partway through when they had the $60/yr + $10 credit the next month + extra 3 months promo a bit ago - so I couldn't resist getting it squared for a long long time]

So I picked up a ps3 last night. Figured I'm dumping Microsoft regardless so might as well catch the exclusives I missed this gen. Psn+ it's a pretty darn good deal overall considering you get Jack shit from Microsoft. reactivated my game fly and got a bunch of games to keep me busy before the new ps4 launches.

Heh, great time to join it Ked - make sure you grab Infamous 2, LBP2 and whatever the others were that are gonna leave the PS+ Collection on Tuesday before then - since those are getting replaced with UC3 and XCom:EU on Tuesday (generally expect it LAAAAATE Tuesday FYI - they're not like most where "Tuesday" means early Tuesday - sometimes it's past midnight EST for them)

I snagged a 3mo PS+ card at Walmart this morning in the checkout line. That was some good product placement on their part!

Uggggghh... stick to 12 months in the future - $18/3 months vs. $50/12 months. The value is basically guaranteed with the history of it - and going 3 month basically costs you 3 months a year for using them over 12 month cards. (Note: If you're "testing the system" that's a good reason - but once you realize the value - stick to 12 month cards)

There are always deals on things like this. I bought my current year when they had a $10 online coupon when you spent $50 on PSN. They'll generally have sales on PSN retail cards as well a couple times a year.
