Well, through private investigators I managed to track her down, she cancelled her phone and drove across country to New Haven, CT and is living in her friend's house there with the dog. Filed a police report with Phoenix PD which took a lot of clever wordplay to even get them to listen to since they just flat out refuse to acknowledge civil issues but I was advised to go this route by a lawyer who said that the first question a judge would ask in a small claims or civil suit would be whether I filed a police report or not. Also, apparently from what the detective said, all she has to do is lie and say that I gave her the dog and they are forced to believe her and can't file criminal charges. So now I have to sue her and figure out how Connecticut small claims or civil suits work so I can get the dog back and not compensation. My amazing puppy Xuxa, Stolen by a crazy ex on Oct 5. My two other dogs are acting just like they did when my corgi died last year. Trying to keep searching for where she might be.View attachment 378147

Anybody have any experience with anything like this?
