Say hello to lucky, now about 10 and a half and rescued from local dog pound. We got her on the last day before she was due to be put down, they dont have a keep till taken policy
Brilliant dog, was abused by a farmer who cut her rear quarters and beat her regularly, rescued and then taken on by a young couple who didnt tell anyone their home was on the fifth floor of a block of flats, they didnt realise a collie needed exercise so it didnt work out. Returned to the pound after a fortnight and by pure luck we got her. Now a very practiced therapy dog we regularly visit care homes, hospitals, special needs groups and hospices, she loves it and so do the residents, from her past history how she can have such affection for people i'll never know. Love that dog so much.
Here's Nymeria, the Corgi Jack Russell Terrier. Pain in the ass most days, but she makes up for it by being sweet 5% of the time. She's still a puppy, but one day she'll follow me around everywhere (she already does).
Here are some pictures of the "pets" I posted back then.
This tank crashed and died due to a chiller malfunction. All of the coral was living before the crash.
And here is the future home of my future pets when I finish the build I am working on. It is definitely a bigger better build. One that will not crash like the last one. It has been years in the making. If you look close you can see a sea serpent sculpture
throwback to my gaming days I guess.
If you really have some time to wastehereis the complete build thread.
Several replies: Damn, I am really sorry for your poor dog. Losing a pet is crushing, and to have it happen suddenly is horrible. My deepest sympathies to you, Antarius.
*squee!!* Jelly Bean has such beautiful green eyes!
Greyform: that is a badass tank, and if I'd lost all that coral, I would have been livid. Your new set up looks good; it is always refreshing to see people who understand that saltwater reef setups isn't like getting a fucking goldfish from the carnival. My old tank was never as nice as yours, but I really miss it. Loved how it completely changes and becomes a whole different ecosystem at night. Even had a mantis shrimp in there that was so incredible to watch when it was feeding time
