Yeah, I'd swear it takes into account how much of a pain in the ass it is to get skill up fodder when deciding whether to grant a skill-up or not. My vampire got three skills on about 30 feeds, and I got one naga skill up on ten tries.

Meanwhile, I fed two big blue slimes from Poring to my shardran. It's skill level three now.

I'd believe this. I fed demons to my green demon to max the skill up only during the 2x event... he's level 82 now and just maxed. That's a shit ton of demons.

The Toy dragons could be useful if their stats werent total ass.

Using monodark for an example...

A common setup of skills would be:
Persephone (light and heart -> dark) 16(10) turns
Chaos Dragon Knight (light -> dark) 9(5) turns
Vampire (heart -> dark) 11(5) turns

Adding in a toy dragon gives you
Drawn Joker (light -> heart) 11(5) turns

Allowing you flexibility by giving you two new combos:
1. Damage + Heal: Heart to Dark THEN Light to Heart

OR

2. Damage!!!: Light to Heart THEN Heart to Dark (similar to Chaos Dragon Knight, but also giving you hearts to dark as well)

The main reason you do not see Toydragons in monocolor teams is because even at max level they have godawful stats. Giving them decent stats + another color would make them very viable subs.

Giving them triple resists... wouldn't do all that much. Maybe INCREASING their resists OR when super low on HP or full on HP resisting more... would make them an interesting leader choice.

I ended up feeding all my toy dragons to other monsters for exp since I never...ever...used any of the fuckers.

Edit: I turned my Minerva from red/light to red/dark so she gained the devil subspec.

Tanky rainbow devil team incoming! Astaroth, dark Ceres, dark Minerva, dark Neptune, dark/light Hades go go go!

I want to build a team very like this, please let me know how it goes!

I just couldn't bring myself to pull for two monsters I liked out of ten... and then I'd get an ice golem.

I pulled hoping to get an Astaroth, and got shit on with "rare" 3star monsters. Fuck. That.
I did want that team though. D/D-L hades, G/D Ceres, hera, Dark Minerva, Dark Neptune, the list goes on.

Yeah, I think 2x kings is broken for anything not Metals. Also, I like how you can run Metals on NOT 2x king and never even see a king, and then 2x king comes around, and you get one every single run. I'm not sure they know what 2x means.

I've been running ancient dark nearly nonstop for a week straight. I'm so fucking sick of it. But must...max...dragon....

I wish I had the patience to max that bastard. He's already found a home on my mono-dark team, but I fed a little more than 20 of the dragons with only a single skill-up. That combined with the fact that this is one of the few tri-colors where running Anubis has me at a 50% success rate, and I'm spent. I don't have subs with enough HP to tank the hits like I do when I use my Dark subs. I'll just focus on evolving all my Pengdra Village drops and ignore Ancient Dark until it's on 2X.

Well, here's why I gotta get this fucker at least one more skillup. Dark golem has a 75% armor break. Dragon nukes for 25k. That should punch thru almost any armor out there, including Neptune in Hera. But mines at 6 turns right now, which means I pop golem and then pop the dragon, and then I've gotta wait until golem is back up again. If I get the dragon to 5 turns, I can nuke twice every time armor break is up, and that should make everything with sub 99k armor doable despite my lack of Neptune. I feel its gotta be the consolation prize for no REM luck.

So I ran masks today just after hitting rank 121 since I'm out of 3 different divines. Got a blue one on second run, and the new monster animation pops when the egg hatches.

Guess I know why my blue monsters have sucked for so long.

And with that, my ancient dark dragon is maxed. Got 2 more skillups off 3 more dragons. Now, what the fuck was I doing before I got sucked into that place for 9 days?

Oh who am I kidding. I'll probably keep running it for Moltdras
