Astaroth (Green) is only viable top tier demon...

Lucifer (Dark) and far far far behind him Uriel (Blue) are the good Angels

Horus(Red) Ra (Light) for advanced players.... and Isis (Blue) for everyone are the good Egyptians

Belial isnt a drop you are going to wish you had from the REM... so if thats important to you... I would keep rerolling till you get a REM drop you really want.

So I spent part of Wed. farming mystic mask since I had foolishly maxed Berserk and figured I couldn't waste all that blue xp from Marin feeds it would take for six whole skill-ups.

I just maxed him, haven't fed anything else. His xp tells me it took 13 (!) marins.

In other news, I'll be running legendary descends for chests the rest of this event to even out that luck....

With blue Odin picking up physical as a sub type I was brainstorming some team ideas.

Was thinking it might be fun to try out dual Siegfried leaders with two blue Odin subs, Fuma (light ninja, wood to light orb change) with the last slot of echidna/king bubblie/Goemon depending on the dungeon. Might be a fun 9x team.

That wood to light orb change seems really useless on that team. And with 4 blues on the team already... One light... and One other color? Might as well pop in Blue Samurai Dragon instead of Fuma. King Slimes are sort of the cornerstone of all the 9x sub type teams for burst... so would take a permanent spot most of the time.

Goemon would have no place in that team except as an HP spot since his attack isnt all that high... replacing with Mastering would give you a more interesting ability to use and more often.

Okay, I am a late comer and only just installed this game (live in the UK so had to snag the APK off the net, meh)

I see from a few posts ago that the OP list is no longer current. What should I try to reroll for? Haven't the slightest idea what to do heh

If I'm running Mono Dark, I should definitely ultimate my Hades to D/D right?

Anyone hear or know what the all Mastering group does they hint at login?

I'd stick with it. Who knows how many hundreds of rerolls it would take to get a lucifer.

Also, 2x porings tomorrow... Everyone start saving your stamina.

I started with a green odin. It is a solid lead, and will carry you through early and mid game easily, friend request people with auto healers (siren, amaterasu). You'll be able to eventually brainlessly clear hera, and he's a good lead for hera-is.

If you get a dspinas on your rank 20 trade, all you will need is a spike damage lead and you'll be able to clear the majority of content.

If you are a powergamer and want the best...
Reroll until you get Lucifer. Nothing else from REM enables you to beat more content with less skill, time or luck. The amount of time you spend trying to level up a team, or bang your head against unbeatable for your team content later on in the game is much greater than the time it takes you to roll for a Lucifer.

If you rerolled 100 times already and still haven't got a Lucifer... Keep rerolling. Yes. Seriously.

If you read that sentence and thought it was a joke, sorry to say it was not.

Other good starting rolls by type:

Chinese: (Not released on US yet)
1. Kirin (light): More difficult to activate than Horus, less difficult than Ra...

Devils:
1.Astaroth (Green) - viable for devil team...

Angels:
1. Lucifer (Dark) - yup, king of the game for the foreseeable future
200. Duriel (Blue) - 2XHP/RCV and lots of utility with blue... listed as 200 to show relative difference between a Lucifer team and a Duriel team.

Egytpian:
1. Horus (Red): 4x damage with 4 color matches... active sucks... great leader... good monored sub... good goemon sub. Needs good skills to activate
2. Ra (light): 6x damage with 5 color matches... active is very niche. Good leader if you have godly matching skills.
3. Isis (blue): 3x dmg with 3 color matches... active is a small heal with a low cooldown. 2nd best leader for a beginner (behind Lucifer of course)

Norse:
None. Werent good before... still arent good now. Their leader skill being given to starter dragons means you shouldnt bother wasting your time with them.

New Greek:
1. Persephone - good on her own accord... even better becuase Lucifer is so good.
2. All the new greeks are good.

Indian:
None... current gameplay has shifted away from this team comp.

Old Greek:
None... current gameplay has shifted away from this team comp, all old greeks get a dark or light sub... and resist... which is nice. But would not waste starting roll on one.

Japanese:
None... Kagatsuchi is great now... but mainly for farming... not for a leader roll.

Special:
1. Green Odin - used to be able to carry you through most content... until all content was made to counter him.
2.(IAP ONLY). Blue Odin - Great stats... good leader if you have enough gods to fill a team.
3. Valkyrie (light) - Ok... but attainable through a descend dungeon using several team comps...

Uriel is the red angel. Gabriel is the blue angel.
